I like this composition and because the theme of children in detention have left the dark space to the right of the picture and the dark background.  Light is focused on the doll looking through the wire, the boat and flag.

I used the filter on photos of ceiling, changing color and hue, using noise and lens flare for this effect.

This image I took of myself pointing the camera at the television screen and using the light from the windowbehind as back light. It created a blurring interesting outline I thought.

This picture I took of myself in the mirror in the hallway.  It's a bit blurred but like the effect of the frames within a frame and lines created by the doorway.

I took this picture in my bedroom using a tripod.  I like the effect of the line of the movable closet doors cutting the photo and depth created in the reflection

I like this composition that shows the side of the mailbox with the depth of the street enhancing it.

I like the scrollwork of the mailbox with the texture of the plants. The view through the scrollwork with the car and house in the distance is appealing.

This composition shows the contrast between the organic texture and color of the plant and inorganic texture of the scrollwork.

I have used a slow shutter speed with camera on a tripond. Light meter adjusted and turning the zoom as I took the picture

I like this composition with the lines of the folded paper softened with the addition of the wisp of hair

The facial features are blurred with the necklace and paper creating line and form.

Varying lines formed from end of pencils and erasers ,the paper blurred and emphasis on hand and all it's lines.

This is my favorite,the blacks ,greys and white in the picture plus diagonal lines created by shadows and railing.

I like the curving lines and reflection of the light through the the upper window and line shadows on the wall below.

Selected 3 pictures of the mailboxes and changed the hue and saturation of each.

I like this composition with the 2 lights, the roadway falling away and the garbage bins.

I like this composition with a flashlight laying on driveway aimed at boot of car.  Gives a good effect with the lights of the house.

I have used the flashlight again aimed at the lens from the leftside of the camera and then capturing lights of the car in the upper right.

I like the dark image even though blurred against the light coming from the window

I like this image even though blurred because the depth of the image and the lines created by the doorway and the mirror

This picture was taken in the bedroom in the closet mirrors using a tripod.  I like the efect of depth and the image split withe movable mirrors

mailbox excercise

Taken out the front of my house.  I like the angle and the depth created.  The side of the mailbox is in shadow but should have got the entire mailbox in shot not cut off the corners
